Dennis Hinrichsen earned a M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Iowa. Currently, he teaches at Lansing Community College in Michigan. His previously published works include Detail from The Garden of Earthly Delights, winner of the 1999 Akron Poetry Prize, The Rain That Falls This Far, and The Attraction of Heavenly Bodies.
